We strive to provide lawyers from diverse backgrounds the opportunity to succeed and to reward team members for the unique perspectives and ideas they bring to the table.
This approach is instrumental in cultivating an environment where attorneys and business professionals at all levels can collaborate and make meaningful contributions, and we believe that the existence of such an environment is the cornerstone for both the professional advancement of our team members and our ability to provide optimal results to our clients.
We appreciate opportunities to work alongside institutions that embrace this same way of thinking so that we can foster deeper connections and continue to learn from the inspiring people we work with every day.
We go beyond our firm to promote access to opportunity and give back to the communities in which we live and work.
Our approach to creating opportunities to succeed extends beyond our own personnel. It also involves civic work with non-profits and other strategic partners who focus on providing individuals who have faced unique challenges with access to the resources and tools required for a successful career as leaders in law and finance.
For example, we are strong supporters of Sponsors for Educational Opportunity (SEO), a non-profit that seeks to provide students from underserved communities with a path to undergraduate and graduate-level opportunities, as well as the Toigo Foundation, a non-profit that aims to develop talented and diverse leadership through its graduate fellowship program.
Our lawyers also teach and volunteer at the UCLA and USC law schools, and the firm actively supports the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE), a global education non-profit that brings the power of entrepreneurship to youth in low-income communities.
Community engagement is important to Massumi + Consoli, within our industry and beyond. We are a member of the American Investment Council (AIC) and participate in its support for various civic service organizations and non-profits. We also contribute to organizations that reflect our firm’s values in their pursuit of helping those from underserved communities or helping individuals overcome challenges, including All For Kids, a non-profit focused on improving child abuse prevention, foster care and adoption.
