Dov Kogen is a Partner focused on private equity, mergers and acquisitions and growth equity matters.

Experience

Dov has extensive experience advising private equity firms and their portfolio companies, along with other public and private companies, on a broad range of complex transactions, including platform and add-on acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, carve-outs, strategic mergers, structured growth investments, dispositions, special situations transactions and joint ventures.  He also counsels clients on general corporate and governance matters. Dov has led transactions across several industry verticals, including media, technology, finance, automotive, gaming, energy and retail/grocery. His solutions-oriented approach and focus on client success anchor his practice.

 

Dov has been recognized by The Legal 500 as a Recommended Lawyer for Private Equity Buyouts: Middle-Market (Up to $500M). He has also been recognized by the Los Angeles Times as a Banking and Finance Visionary.

 

Prior to joining Massumi + Consoli, Dov was a partner at Kirkland & Ellis. He began his career at Weil, Gotshal & Manges, practicing in New York, Hong Kong and the Bay Area.

 

Dov was a Benjamin Franklin Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania.
