Michael has extensive experience advising private equity firms and their portfolio companies, along with other public and private companies, on a broad range of complex transactions, including platform and add-on acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, carve-outs, strategic mergers, structured growth investments, dispositions, special situations transactions and joint ventures across a wide variety of verticals, including enterprise software, data and technology, healthcare, business services, consumer products, manufacturing, infrastructure and industrials. He also counsels clients on various general corporate and governance matters.
Prior to joining Massumi + Consoli, Michael practiced at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. Prior to joining Gibson Dunn & Crutcher, Michael served as Associate General Counsel at ECI Software Solutions after starting his career at Vinson & Elkins.
Michael was a student athlete at Dallas Baptist University (basketball).
