Ted advises private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, other strategic investment firms and other public and private companies on the tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions, financings and other complex transactions, as well as general corporate matters.
He regularly works with clients to execute complex corporate and international transactions in a tax-efficient manner. He has experience implementing a variety of transactions, including tax-free corporate reorganizations, equity rollovers, asset sales and stock sales.
Ted is a member of the New York City Bar Association’s Taxation of Business Entities Committee.
Ted began his career in the tax departments at Kirkland & Ellis and Weil, Gotshal & Manges.
In law school, Ted received a Certificate of Merit for achieving the highest grade in International Taxation and was a student athlete at Washington University in St. Louis (rugby).
