Massumi + Consoli Earns Chambers USA Rankings in Private Equity: Buyouts and M&A in the Fewest Years from Founding

In its 10th Anniversary Year, Massumi + Consoli Recognized for Ability to Handle Complex Deals and Expanded Specialist Capabilities

Massumi + Consoli, a nationwide law firm recognized for its leading private equity and M&A practice, has once again ascended into the Chambers USA rankings at a record pace, achieving a department-wide ranking in the California – Private Equity: Buyouts category—a milestone reached in fewer years from founding than any other U.S. law firm.

Praising the firm for its “excellent counsel in LBOs, carve-outs and add-ons, among other transactions,” Chambers observed the firm is “focused on ensuring their clients are getting the best possible advice on any given issue.” The guide also commended the Private Equity group’s “skilled and experienced counsel” as a key strength of the firm with one client sharing that the firm “thrives in complexity,” and another describing it as “incredibly effective at handling complex and sophisticated matters.”

The firm has also again been ranked in Band 1 of the California: Los Angeles & Surrounds Corporate/M&A: Highly Regarded table. Last year, Massumi + Consoli became the fastest firm ever to secure this department-wide ranking as well.

In the 2025 guide, Chambers emphasized the team’s “incredible attention to detail” and strong grasp of broader deal dynamics as hallmarks of its M&A practice. One client cited the firm’s “excellent response times,” while another added that “few compare to [M+C] in terms of institutionalized professionalism.” The guide further recognized the firm for “consistently deliver[ing] a top service in terms of skill, experience and professionalism.”

M+C was additionally recognized for its “expertise in a range of corporate and transactional matters, with supplementary in-house capabilities.” One client praised the firm’s “deep expertise” and “robust, growing cohort of specialists,” while another said, “we also appreciate the in-house specialist coverage and ability to deliver a unified experience across all key areas.”

In addition to the firm’s department rankings, Massumi + Consoli’s Adeeb Fadil has once again been ranked as a Band 1 lawyer in the Environment: Mainly Transactional category, with the guide highlighting him as a “gifted professional” and “frequently sought out” for his ability to “handle the full range of environmental issues arising out of corporate deals.” Adeeb has been ranked by Chambers for over 20 years, including 19 years as a Band 1 lawyer.
