Crystal Becker

Crystal has extensive experience advising sponsors on the establishment of private investment funds and investment arrangements in strategies across the alternative investment spectrum, including private equity, credit and real assets. She also advises sponsors on the structuring of management company and carry vehicles and the establishment of their internal governance and compensation arrangements.

In addition, she represents both sponsors and investors in seed and stake investments in fund managers, and complex secondaries transactions.

Crystal advises sponsors across the private funds market, from emerging and next-generation managers to established firms raising successor funds and expanding into new strategies and products. She counsels clients throughout the fund lifecycle, including platform formation, fundraising, closings and ongoing operations. Her experience includes commingled funds, single-investor funds, separately managed accounts, co-investment vehicles and special purpose vehicles.

She also has significant experience representing institutional investors and limited partners in connection with fund investments and co-investments, giving her a practical understanding of both sides of the market.

Prior to joining Massumi + Consoli, Crystal practiced at Gibson Dunn.

Crystal was a student athlete at the University of Southern California (track and field).
