Shon Glusky joining the firm to help drive strategy, signals the caliber of talent Massumi + Consoli is recruiting as it grows

LOS ANGELES, CA (September 24, 2026) – Massumi + Consoli (“M+C” or the “firm”), a nationwide law firm recognized for its leading private equity and M&A practice, today announced the launch of ElevenHundred+ (“the MSO”), a management services organization that will build and operate the business, technology and operational infrastructure supporting the firm.[i]

The firm also announced that Shon Glusky, a veteran private equity M&A lawyer and experienced law firm leader who served on Sheppard’s Executive Committee, served as its Firmwide Lateral Partner Recruitment and Growth Manager and led its firmwide Corporate and Securities practice nationally, has joined the law firm as a partner and as the firm’s Chief Strategy Officer in its New York office.

“We have always believed clients should not have to choose between the sophistication and resources of the largest law firms and the responsiveness, access and client service of a more agile platform,” said Peter Massumi, co-founder of Massumi + Consoli. “The MSO gives us the ability to make ‘BigLaw-scale’ investments in technology, infrastructure and business operations while enabling us to preserve the personalized service and sophisticated counsel that has been the foundation of our success from day one. In short, it can be a blueprint for law firms to remain competitive in an industry striving to keep up with the pace of technological innovation.”

“The future of legal practice will combine elite legal talent and judgment with technology, data and sophisticated operations to deliver a more seamless, responsive and informed client experience,” said Anthony Consoli, co-founder of Massumi + Consoli. “We now have a structure that allows us to invest in that vision in a manner that even the largest law firm partnerships struggle to adopt, and we believe our clients are going to be major beneficiaries of it.”

Talent will be a critical investment priority for M+C, with the firm planning to use the new structure, capital and other equity incentives available to the MSO to recruit aggressively. The MSO gives the firm the resources and operational infrastructure to support and integrate both individual lateral partners and lateral teams of the caliber M+C is pursuing.

The MSO will also meaningfully invest in AI, workflow automation, knowledge management, data science and other technologies designed to provide bandwidth to attorneys so they can devote more time to high-value legal counsel, strategy and client results. At the center of these investments will remain M+C’s high-touch, people-led approach to serving clients.

The launch builds on a period of significant expansion for M+C as the firm has grown topline on average of approximately 40% CAGR over the past five years, including 60% growth in 2025 alone. During that time, M+C has added lawyers, practice areas and office locations in response to client demand. While this growth is expected to continue, M+C will remain steadfast in its commitment to provide the senior-level attention, responsiveness and commercially minded advice that already define its model.

SHON GLUSKY JOINS M+C AS A PARTNER IN ITS NEW YORK OFFICE

Glusky joins M+C as the first of several key hires the firm expects to announce in the coming weeks.

“Shon is exactly the caliber of lawyer we intend to attract as we enter this next phase of growth,” said Consoli. “Having him join the partnership is demonstrative of the quality of law firm we have built, and the power of the platform we are now growing with the launch of the MSO. Shon is an exceptional private equity lawyer and an equally impressive firm leader who, for more than a decade, was instrumental in his prior firm’s success, notable growth and geographic expansion. We could not be more thrilled to welcome him to the partnership and look forward to reshaping the law firm landscape together.”

“Shon’s experience across market cycles, transaction types and longstanding sponsor relationships gives clients the kind of perspective that only comes from doing this work at a high level for decades,” said Massumi. “He appreciates how sponsors think, what they need from their counsel and how to deliver strategic advice. We look forward to seeing him become immediately impactful to the firm’s continued growth and strategic direction.”

In addition to his private equity M&A work for clients, as Chief Strategy Officer, Glusky will also work with leadership on firmwide growth initiatives, particularly in lateral recruitment and strategic expansion with a focus on adding senior talent in the sectors and markets where the firm’s clients are most active.

Over the course of his career, Glusky has advised private equity sponsors, their portfolio companies and institutional investors on leveraged buyouts, platform and add-on acquisitions, carve-outs and divestitures, structured minority and growth investments, dispositions and joint ventures. He has completed hundreds of equity and debt financing transactions across a wide range of industry sectors and has significant experience with growth equity financings and debt restructurings.

Glusky spent more than fifteen years at Sheppard, where he was a member of the firm’s Executive Committee, served as its Firmwide Lateral Partner Recruitment and Growth Manager and led its firmwide Corporate and Securities practice nationally. He holds a B.A. from Binghamton University and a J.D., with distinction, from Emory University School of Law.

“Over the years, I have watched M+C establish itself as an elite firm serving elite clients,” said Glusky. “When the opportunity to practice law at the firm presented itself and was coupled with helping build what I believe is the way forward for law firms, the decision to join M+C was an easy one. I very much look forward to building on what came before me to continue the firm’s incredible growth trajectory on all fronts, as well as leading the way for innovation in the legal industry in an ever-changing market.”
