Massumi + Consoli Expands in Dallas with Addition of Law Firm Leader Lindsay Ferguson
M+C also adds M&A Partner Carol Archer and additional partners from top firms as national expansion continues
DALLAS, TX (October 20, 2026) – Massumi + Consoli (“M+C”), a nationwide law firm recognized for its leading private equity and M&A practice, today announced that Lindsay Ferguson has joined the firm as a Partner in its Dallas office, marking another significant addition as M+C expands its presence in the Texas market. She joins M+C’s Private Equity and M&A practice from Sheppard, where she served as Managing Partner of the Dallas office and co-leader of the firm’s Food & Beverage practice.
Ferguson’s arrival comes amid a period of nationwide growth, including a strong second-half recruiting run that has brought additional partners to M+C from Paul Weiss, Gibson Dunn, Ropes & Gray, Goodwin, Sheppard and Sidley Austin, as well as numerous associates and counsel from leading national and international firms.
Ferguson is part of M+C’s broader investment in Dallas, which includes relocating to a new office space in Knox-Henderson in early 2027. The move will accommodate the firm’s growing team and support continued expansion in the market.
“We have always seen tremendous opportunity in Dallas, and Texas more broadly, and Lindsay is exactly the kind of lawyer and leader we want to build around as we expand our presence here,” said Anthony Consoli, co-founder of Massumi + Consoli and a partner in the Dallas office. “Lindsay is a sophisticated private equity M&A lawyer with deep relationships in Texas and beyond and has a proven ability to lead and develop teams. Her addition is a key part of the foundation for the next stage of this office’s growth.”
Transitioning from Sheppard alongside Ferguson is fellow M&A Partner Carol Archer, who will be based in New York. Archer brings a distinct leadership profile to the firm, having served as the architect and leader of Sheppard’s AI Legal Solutions team, where she focused on leveraging AI and legal technology to transform transactional service delivery. Her experience at the intersection of M&A, technology and client service further supports M+C’s focus on building a modern legal platform.
Archer, Ferguson and Shon Glusky, who joined M+C in September as Partner and Chief Strategy Officer, bring significant experience working together on sophisticated transactions, including for private equity sponsors such as Littlejohn & Co.
“I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with Lindsay and Carol on complex transactions and have seen firsthand the judgment, creativity and commitment they bring to clients,” said Glusky. “They are exceptional lawyers and leaders who share our belief that the best firms combine elite legal talent with a willingness to innovate and continually rethink how we work and serve clients. I’m thrilled to continue working alongside them as we build the law firm of the future.”
“We have been very deliberate not only about where and how we grow, but also about the kind of firm we want to build,” said Peter Massumi, co-founder of Massumi + Consoli. “We are attracting exceptional lawyers who are leaders in their practices and want to help shape the culture, capabilities and client experience of the firm.”
Ferguson and Archer advise private equity sponsors, portfolio companies and strategic clients on mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, investments, joint ventures, recapitalizations and other complex corporate transactions. Their experience spans the investment lifecycle and also includes advising public and private companies on significant strategic transactions.
“What attracted me to M+C was not only the strength of its private equity and M&A platform, but the opportunity to help build what comes next,” said Ferguson. “The legal profession is evolving quickly, and M+C has the ambition to rethink how a law firm operates, how teams collaborate and how we deliver exceptional client service. I’m excited to help build that future in Texas and across the firm.”
“Technology is creating real opportunities to rethink how transactional work is structured and delivered,” said Archer. “I’m particularly interested in building dedicated teams around specific functional aspects of a transaction, supported by the right technology and processes, so lawyers can focus their time where their judgment and experience add the most value. M+C’s willingness to innovate and develop new approaches to service delivery is a major part of what attracted me to the firm.”
Ferguson earned a B.A. from Texas Tech University, summa cum laude, and a J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law, summa cum laude and Order of the Coif.
Archer earned a B.A. from State University of New York at Albany and a J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law, cum laude.
